ITINERARY:

Pickup from Errachidia Airport or Hotel (morning) Drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes. Stop at Aoufous Oasis for scenic photos. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to Erg Chebbi dunes. Camel Trekking into the dunes at sunset. Overnight stay in a luxury or standard desert camp, with Berber music and stargazing. 🚗 Distance: ~130 km (2-3 hours drive)

Sunrise in the desert (optional early morning camel ride). Breakfast at camp and 4x4 ride back to Merzouga. Visit the Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnaoua music. Drive to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering rock walls (short walk & photo stop). Continue to Dades Valley, famous for its “Monkey Fingers” rock formations. Overnight in a hotel or kasbah in Dades Gorge. 🚗 Distance: ~270 km (5-6 hours drive)

Breakfast, then drive through the Valley of Roses (famous for rose products). Stop at Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco." Explore the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, an ancient fortified village. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
